The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elvio Celino kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Dimas in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Goyo saved Club Atletico Parque Chas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Dimas in the 6th minute of play forced Club Atletico Parque Chas's goalkeeper Gregorio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Amapola AFC booed when Club Atletico Parque Chas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes of play Club Atletico Parque Chas's Alberto Asier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Parque Chas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Amapola AFC:s goal. 14 minutes into the match, Amapola AFC's goalkeeper Cayetano Elequemedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Giraldo. Froilan Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Amapola AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Quentin. If Oscar Dimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Ospetsu in the 30th minute of play forced Club Atletico Parque Chas's goalkeeper Gregorio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Wilfredo Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Oscar Dimas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amapola AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Dimas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Amapola AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Ospetsu to make the kick off. Gregorio Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Ospetsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Dimas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Goyo having to make a save. If Oscar Dimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Oscar Dimas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Goyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 73rd minute, Marciano Giraldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Parque Chas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Marciano Giraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Parque Chas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Giraldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Dimas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gregorio Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Goyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Dimas in the 84th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Parque Chas's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Ospetsu came free, but Gregorio Goyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Celino hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Amapola AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ciro Quentin hit a great ball.
