Spectators: 6911 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 2) Siro Ruisko started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The coaching staff of De neon protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorge Hustaz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Marciano Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Amato having to interfere. Arnulfo Lidon in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregorio Goyo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Felix Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gregorio Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Elvio Celino made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Amato. De neon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Severo Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot. De neon's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Ayala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Goyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnulfo Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Club Atletico Parque Chas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Lidon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Mitxaut during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnaldo Amato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Ruisko's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Arnaldo Amato made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Nunez Lopes sent off a good shot on target. Severo Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Santo Salbatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Arnulfo Lidon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De neon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Lidon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. De neon's Severo Ayala got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Santo Salbatore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gregorio Goyo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gregorio Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The De neon manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Club Atletico Parque Chas to win.
