After having played for 18 minutes, Blas Errando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patagones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Errando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximino Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Jerold having to interfere. Maximino Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rogelio Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Errando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Primitivo Ted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rogelio Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Patagones's zone, Maximino Teofilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Jerold came out of the goal and Maximino Teofilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patagones were furious when Rigoberto Kepa was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Patagones fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Pudes was the one to do the kick off. If Luciano Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Teofilio in the 55th minute of play forced Patagones's goalkeeper Rogelio Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Pudes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Primitivo Ted having to make a save. In the 61st play minute Narciso Pudes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Primitivo Ted. 1-1. Rogelio Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Patagones getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Leo Boniel hit a great ball. If Luciano Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Benard FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Romulo Abecia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Patagones's Narciso Pudes got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, Patagones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Quexal to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Luciano Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Maldonado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Jerold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Teofilio in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Jerold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narciso Pudes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Nayely hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Juan Ulizes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rogelio Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Benard FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Abecia. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
