A collision led to De neon getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ladislao Acevedo hit a great ball. Maximino Teofilio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Amato came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximino Teofilio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Felix Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot. De neon's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Chorache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Ted breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Primitivo Ted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Lidon in the 21st minute of play. Primitivo Ted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Chorache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Arnulfo Lidon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De neon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Lidon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, De neon's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Teofilio came free, but Arnaldo Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnaldo Amato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Amato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Maldonado went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Ladislao Acevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De neon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benard FC the free kick. Ladislao Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Benard FC's Primitivo Ted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Chorache in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Lidon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benard FC's Primitivo Ted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Chorache in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Ulizes in the 58th minute of play forced De neon's goalkeeper Arnaldo Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Ted having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Benard FC's zone, Braulio Rocio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Ted came out of the goal and Braulio Rocio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Felix Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, De neon's Ladislao Acevedo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Felix Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Ted having to interfere. Primitivo Ted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Chorache, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Arnulfo Lidon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 93rd minute, De neon's Felix Chorache ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Primitivo Ted. Primitivo Ted yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. De neon's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Benard FC had won, even though De neon had held more of the ball.
