Maximino Teofilio started the match with the kick off. The supporters of CA Independiente booed when Benard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Independiente's goalkeeper Anselmo Tomi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximino Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Tomi having to interfere. Luis Cordeal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Primitivo Ted having to make a save. In the 20thth minute of the game Isidoro Demario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benard FC's Primitivo Ted was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Urre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benard FC the free kick. After 25 minutes, Maximino Teofilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benard FC and the CA Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Benard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Teofilio to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Fausto Domenec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes, Gaudencio Kismi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benard FC and the CA Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Benard FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Kismi. Isidoro Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Juan Ulizes charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Ulizes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Benard FC's Juan Ulizes got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Demario made a kick off. Anselmo Tomi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Teofilio's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Anselmo Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Teofilio in the 61st minute of play. Anselmo Tomi came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Benard FC's Luciano Maldonado. But to his dismay, Luciano Maldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Juan Ulizes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Benard FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Kismi. Maximino Teofilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Benard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Demario came free, but Primitivo Ted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Teofilio in the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Demario in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primitivo Ted saved Benard FC from getting behind.
