Maximiliano Oliviero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Gumaro in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cayetano Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinchinales AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Venancio Gumaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Oliviero was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 25 played minutes Chinchinales AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Amato. Teobaldo Oso fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 27th minute. Venancio Gumaro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Maximiliano Oliviero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Explosivo FC. After having played for 33 minutes, Teodosio Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Gumaro in the 36th minute of play forced Chinchinales AFC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Oliviero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Oliviero having to interfere. When Venancio Gumaro came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Explosivo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Gumaro couldn't finish the play. After having played for 40 minutes, Venancio Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Explosivo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Gumaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cayetano Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cayetano Firme to strike the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Firme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Teodosio Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Explosivo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Presebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Oliviero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venancio Gumaro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Maximiliano Oliviero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Venancio Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Maximiliano Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chinchinales AFC's Maximiliano Oliviero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Presebal in the 69th minute of play. Explosivo FC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Chinchinales AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teobaldo Oso took the corner. The corner led Explosivo FC's Teobaldo Oso to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximiliano Oliviero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Chinchinales AFC's Maximiliano Oliviero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Chinchinales AFC from getting a goal against them. Cayetano Firme might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Gasteiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cayetano Firme ran back to his position shaking his head. Benedicto Tomi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carolo Gasteiz. Explosivo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venancio Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maximiliano Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venancio Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Chinchinales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Amato to maneuver through the defense. Chinchinales AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Explosivo FC had controlled the match.
