Silvio Suarez charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Suarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Retamito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Suarez to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Teo Clis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Remigio Quintan hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes, Cayetano Firme made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Retamito AFC's Flavio Jurdan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Chinchinales AFC's Cayetano Firme in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Benedicto Tomi put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chinchinales AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Retamito AFC. Humberto Etxekopar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximiliano Oliviero. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvio Suarez to strike the kick off in the second half. When Feliciano Cordarryl fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinchinales AFC's protests and gave Feliciano Cordarryl a yellow card for diving instead. Humberto Etxekopar shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 60 minutes, Silvio Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retamito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Soter during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Chinchinales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Soter to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Oliviero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Suarez in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Firme in the 75th minute of play forced Retamito AFC's goalkeeper Flavio Jurdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Silvio Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Retamito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Loren to maneuver through the defense. Teo Clis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Maximiliano Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Cayetano Firme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Oliviero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Suarez in the 103rd minute of the match.
