Suardi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Donio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Banfield getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Maximiliano Galindo hit a great ball. Placido Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Donio in the 29th minute of the match. When Celso Gomez fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Banfield's protests and gave Celso Gomez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Banfield's Celso Gomez got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Banfield getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Jesco came free, but Placido Theobald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Conrado Donio came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Suardi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Donio couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Placido Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Club Atletico Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Costante to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Jonatan Gumaro from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Placido Theobald's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 83rd minute, Carmelo Panfilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
