Flavio Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Presebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Suarez in the 24th minute of play. Retamito AFC's Flavio Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Presebal in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Retamito AFC's Gregorio Loren got a free kick in the 44th minute. Retamito AFC's Aureliano Berart shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carolo Gasteiz but with some difficulty.

Mario Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Flavio Jurdan made a huge save. In the 56th match minute, Retamito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Suarez to maneuver through the defense. Mario Derwin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Explosivo FC's Venancio Gumaro got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Teodosio Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Presebal might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Jurdan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Presebal ran back to his position shaking his head. Venancio Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Jurdan was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Mario Derwin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mario Derwin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1.
