Calamardo's Ramiro Matei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Calamardo from getting a goal against them. When Perinola's Omar Rios in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calamardo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th minute, Daniel Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Cipriano Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Calamardo's Baltasar Tulio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Herrera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Perinola getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jonas Erramun hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Cipriano Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calamardo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cipriano Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Tulio struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Guido Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calamardo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Tulio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baltasar Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Cipriano Galo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Calamardo's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Rios came free, but Ramiro Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guido Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Gabriel Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Herrera made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Baltasar Tulio sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute of the match Calamardo got a corner. Perinola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Ixona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nicanor Ixona made a great header on Calamardo's corner, it was just that Perinola's Guido Herrera managed to reach the ball for a save. Osvaldo Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cipriano Galo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Calamardo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Galo couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Calamardo got a freekick which was hit by Julian Lopez. The supporters of Calamardo booed when Perinola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Erramun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cipriano Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calamardo's Cipriano Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Omar Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baltasar Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Guido Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Cipriano Galo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 94 minutes into the match, Calamardo's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Saturnin came free, but Ramiro Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Calamardo's Candido Hug got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ismael Quintun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro Matei. Calamardo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Perinola fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Calamardo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
