Adan Cayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tumanas's Adan Cayo got control of the ball when Edgardo Loreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tumanas's Adan Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Tipi in the 15th minute of play. Everardo Damario charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everardo Damario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Claypole booed when Tumanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Txartiko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Adan Cayo managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Claypole's Edgardo Loreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Tanio in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Cordarell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, one of Claypole:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Claypole. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tumanas's Claudio Tanio in the 64th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cayetano Cordarell was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Claypole through an amazing save. In the 66th minute, Claudio Tanio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cayetano Cordarell. The goal made the score 0-2. During the 69th minute of the match Everardo Damario completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Everardo Damario a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Everardo Damario hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Tumanas's Sixto Gudesteo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Cordarell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Claypole fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Zeledon Thomas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 78 played minutes Claypole got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Noe. After 79 played minutes, Tumanas's Zeledon Thomas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayetano Cordarell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tumanas reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudio Tanio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cayetano Cordarell. That made the score 0-3 in the 84 minute of play. After 87 played minutes Claypole got a freekick which was hit by Denis Haritz. In the 89th match minute, Claypole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Noe to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Claudio Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tumanas getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Marciano Dubardo hit a great ball. Isaac Txartiko struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Adan Cayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claypole.
