A collision led to Claypole getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Denis Haritz hit a great ball. Cayetano Cordarell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Mano went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Claypole's zone, Nestor Mano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Cordarell came out of the goal and Nestor Mano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ruben Meder came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Hhhv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Meder couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Nestor Mano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cayetano Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Medero in the 31st minute of play. Nestor Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arsenio Bembe came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Hhhv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Bembe couldn't finish the play. Arsenio Bembe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Cayetano Cordarell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes into the match, Ruben Meder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cayetano Cordarell, 2-0. Ruben Meder might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Cordarell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Meder ran back to his position shaking his head. Arsenio Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Cordarell having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Mano to make the kick off. Saverio Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Bembe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ruben Meder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65thth minute of the game Arsenio Bembe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Claypole's Cayetano Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Mano in the 66th minute of play forced Claypole's goalkeeper Cayetano Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Meder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Cordarell having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Hhhv's Ruben Meder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Cordarell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cayetano Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Mano in the 79th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Saverio Millano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Cordarell was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Hhhv booed when Claypole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Hipolito Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Rafe was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
