Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Osvaldo Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perinola's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cayetano Cordarell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claypole's Cayetano Cordarell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Claypole from getting a goal against them. Cayetano Cordarell came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Perinola's Osvaldo Saturnin. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Saturnin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Claypole's Feliciano Noe got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Cordarell having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Perinola's Omar Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Cordarell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cayetano Cordarell stood somewhat misplaced when Omar Rios came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Rios in the 38th minute of play forced Claypole's goalkeeper Cayetano Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Perinola's Omar Rios got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

52 minutes into the match, Claypole's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Saturnin came free, but Cayetano Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Saturnin in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Perinola's Guido Herrera got control of the ball when Edgardo Loreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Eulalio Tipi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes Perinola got a freekick which was hit by Americo Vidal. Cayetano Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Saturnin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cayetano Cordarell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Saturnin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Cordarell was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Omar Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Cordarell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Saturnin went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Claypole's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
