Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernesto Galindo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tumanas's Sixto Gudesteo got a free kick in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Galindo during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tumanas booed when Bustamente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Tanio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hilario Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Bustamente got a freekick which was hit by Anier Gartxot. If Sixto Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Gudesteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hilario Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Tumanas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bustamente:s goal. In the 21st minute, Bustamente got a penalty, and Inocencio Lehior placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Claudio Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Jonas Meder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Claudio Tanio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hilario Abaurre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Sixto Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Tanio during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tumanas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Claudio Tanio hit a great ball. Adan Cayo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Marcelo Rosio sent off a good shot on target. Sixto Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Abaurre having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Tanio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Tanio in the 52nd minute of play forced Bustamente's goalkeeper Hilario Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes, Denis Vergaray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bustamente and the Tumanas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bustamente getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Denis Vergaray hit a great ball. Bustamente's Hilario Abaurre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Bustamente from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Anier Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Tumanas's Sixto Gudesteo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 60 played minutes Bustamente got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Errando. 64 minutes in the game, Sixto Gudesteo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Sixto Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tumanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Gudesteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Abaurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sixto Gudesteo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Hilario Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tumanas. 1-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Claudio Tanio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Claudio Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Sixto Gudesteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Tanio in the 86th minute of play forced Bustamente's goalkeeper Hilario Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tumanas's Claudio Tanio in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bustamente's goalie prevented a goal. Sixto Gudesteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bustamente's Hilario Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Tanio in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Claudio Tanio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilario Abaurre was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
