Natalio Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Rosio in the 4th minute of play forced LOS COME GORDA's goalkeeper Natalio Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Mark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Sedeni in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Leandro Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Constancio got free with Natalio Ortzi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of LOS COME GORDA booed when Sportivo Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Duardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Corderun hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Leandro Rosio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Natalio Ortzi to make any attempt to save it. If Santo Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute of the match, Leandro Rosio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Natalio Ortzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The LOS COME GORDA fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when LOS COME GORDA's Elvio Sedeni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elvio Sedeni in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Mark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sportivo Club getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Juan Eder hit a great ball. Damaso Beremundo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Sedeni was the one to do the kick off. Damaso Beremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Natalio Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Cayo in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Constancio in the 59th minute of play forced LOS COME GORDA's goalkeeper Natalio Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Claudiu Uncescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS COME GORDA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Leandro Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Lisandro Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Club's zone, Claudiu Uncescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Mark came out of the goal and Claudiu Uncescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Mark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Duarte in the 76th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Sportivo Club got a freekick which was hit by Juan Eder. In the 85th minute, Anibal Duardo made a precise shot to the right of Natalio Ortzi. LOS COME GORDA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 91 minutes into the match, Sportivo Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Duarte came free, but Alejandro Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Sedeni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Mark having to make a save. LOS COME GORDA's Claudiu Uncescu got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LOS COME GORDA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sportivo Club had controlled the match.
