When Saverio Betadur fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Irala's protests and gave Saverio Betadur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Irala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Betadur to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Cordarin in the 9th minute of play forced Irala's goalkeeper Natalio Noe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Albino Paskal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Bartoli struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Albino Paskal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irala. After a rather tough play, Irala's Aldo Gaufred got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 19 minutes, Horacio Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacuaritas and the Irala players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Tacuaritas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Arce to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Tacuaritas's goalkeeper Albino Paskal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Bartoli. Natalio Noe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Aritza in the 26th minute of the match. Joel Esdras lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 30 minutes into the game, one of Tacuaritas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tacuaritas:s Albino Paskal showed great skill when he stopped Aldo Gaufred:s penalty. In the 32nd minute, Aldo Gaufred made a precise shot to the right of Albino Paskal. Tacuaritas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Rigoberto Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Cordarin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Natalio Noe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacuaritas. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Cordarin made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Simon Matxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Paskal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Cebo in the 55th minute of play. Desiderio Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albino Paskal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Cebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Noe made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Desiderio Cordarin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Cordarin got free with Natalio Noe in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 played minutes Irala got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Kaxen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Cebo in the 88th minute of play forced Tacuaritas's goalkeeper Albino Paskal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Simon Matxin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacuaritas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irala the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Tacuaritas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Matxin to maneuver through the defense.
