Felix Palos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Colon. Felix Palos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Ganix's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Modesto Ganix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Real Cantera's zone, Benicio Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Palos came out of the goal and Benicio Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético Colon's Benicio Poz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Pozs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Felix Palos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Ganix in the 26th minute of play forced La Real Cantera's goalkeeper Felix Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Perfecto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gavino Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Benicio Poz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Palos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Felix Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Ganix in the 34th minute of the match. Benicio Poz in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Palos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benicio Poz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Poz got free with Felix Palos in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Real Cantera's Felix Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Ganix in the 42nd minute of play. If Benicio Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Belarmo's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Colon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Belarmo helped the player get up and apologised. Eustacio Belarmo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Satordi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fermin Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Poz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Palos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Poz in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Palos saved La Real Cantera from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, La Real Cantera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Santio to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Felix Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Poz struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Felix Palos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Colon. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Colon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
