Segundo Domiku struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Joaquin Goren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Pibes Del Ameghino. In the 12th match minute, Los Pibes Del Ameghino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Endura to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pibes Del Ameghino's zone, Constantino Roano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Mattin came out of the goal and Constantino Roano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Lepá FC defense, Elpidio Gora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Goren. The Lepá FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Goren should have stopped the shot. If Constantino Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantino Roano was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo Mattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Roano in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Segundo Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Pibes Del Ameghino's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Domiku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Rozarius was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Lepá FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rodolfo Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Roano in the 63rd minute of play. Constantino Roano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Mattin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Eliseo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Rozarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Los Pibes Del Ameghino's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Roano came free, but Rodolfo Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantino Roano in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Mattin saved Los Pibes Del Ameghino from getting behind. Lepá FC's Joaquin Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Domiku in the 89th minute of play. Rodolfo Mattin made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eliseo Rozarius sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lepá FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
