Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rigoberto Cebo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Lázaro Cordearo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Irala's Natalio Noe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Irala from getting a goal against them. After having played for 9 minutes, Jaime Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malbica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Mirande having to interfere. Natalio Noe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Machado in the 29th minute of play. Irala's Rigoberto Cebo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Aimar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ermegildo Mirande. Malbica FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ermegildo Mirande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Celedonio Bartoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Rigoberto Cebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Mirande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Cebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ermegildo Mirande, 1-1. After 60 played minutes Irala got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Betadur. Natalio Noe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Malbica FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Machado. In the 67th minute of the match Elpidio Pitin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Noe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Rigoberto Cebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irala's Natalio Noe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Cordearo in the 80th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Irala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Soter to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Jaime Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Noe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 96th minute of the match Elpidio Pitin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Noe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Malbica FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
