Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Los Pibes Del Ameghino booed when Talita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Semeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Pibes Del Ameghino's Elpidio Gora got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eliseo Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliseo Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Mattin having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Eliseo Calvet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Calvet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Domiku made a kick off. Jeremy Bentham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Sixto Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes, Paolo Hernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Pibes Del Ameghino and the Talita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los Pibes Del Ameghino eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
