The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segundo Domiku might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Palos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Segundo Domiku ran back to his position shaking his head. Elpidio Gora in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Palos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 32 minutes into the match, La Real Cantera's goalkeeper Felix Palos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Gora. After 33 minutes, Segundo Domiku mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Pibes Del Ameghino and the La Real Cantera players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Los Pibes Del Ameghino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Domiku to maneuver through the defense. Moises Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Mattin having to interfere. Rodolfo Mattin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Pancho in the 79th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Angelo Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Pibes Del Ameghino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Jobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Real Cantera walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
