The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomas Ramirez lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Achirense FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Tomas Ramirez hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Amador Bihar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Transito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustavo Domenec scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Transito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Celestino Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achirense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 minutes, Alonzo Gorri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cultural and the Achirense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Cultural got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Gorri. Celestino Osmundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Txatxu in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Achirense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Oskitz came free, but Lázaro Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nicanor Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Lamberto hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cultural's Nicanor Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Egun in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Iturri during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leon Iturri kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Txatxu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game Alonzo Gorri made a throw-in which Apolo Venceslas played forward. 56 minutes into the match, Cultural's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Txatxu came free, but Nicanor Theobald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achirense FC's Guillermo Egun got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 58th minute of the match Alonzo Gorri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alonzo Gorri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Cultural's Alonzo Gorri got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of Cultural booed when Achirense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes of play, Achirense FC's Orlando Txatxu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Theobald was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlando Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Nicanor Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Achirense FC's Orlando Txatxu in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cultural's goalie prevented a goal. Nicanor Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Egun in the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gustavo Domenec could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Lázaro Transito however easily saved by the left post. Orlando Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Transito having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Achirense FC's Guillermo Egun got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Achirense FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
