Lázaro Cordearo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Cordearo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Felipe Panpili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malbica FC. If Jaime Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cilindro FC's Felipe Panpili got control of the ball when Lázaro Cordearo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute Nereo Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Mirande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Panpili having to interfere. Felipe Panpili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Cordearo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Malbica FC booed when Cilindro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Javiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Malbica FC's Elpidio Pitin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nereo Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Malbica FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cilindro FC:s goal. In the 73rd match minute, Cilindro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Lidon to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malbica FC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Mirande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Malbica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Alonso to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cilindro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
