Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Higinio Llorienzo started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Barrilete Cosmico FC's Leonardo Lizbeth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Gines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 5 played minutes Barrilete Cosmico FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Lauren. Abo Bado made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Higinio Llorienzo sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cosmico FC's goalkeeper Abo Bado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Llorienzo. Generoso Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Gergori in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Higinio Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banfiel Oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Llorienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Gines having to interfere. Higinio Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abo Bado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Higinio Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfiel Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Llorienzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abo Bado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Banfiel Oeste's Higinio Llorienzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abo Bado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute of the match, Higinio Llorienzo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abo Bado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cosmico FC's zone, Aquilino Elixio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abo Bado came out of the goal and Aquilino Elixio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everardo Joachim hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Banfiel Oeste's Generoso Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lizbeth in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lizbeth in the 40th minute of play forced Banfiel Oeste's goalkeeper Generoso Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Gergori, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anastasio Gergori to make the kick off. Leonardo Lizbeth struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Generoso Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrilete Cosmico FC. After 55 played minutes Banfiel Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Abeitia. After having played for 59 minutes, Higinio Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banfiel Oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Llorienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Lizbeth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cosmico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Franco came free, but Abo Bado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abo Bado having to interfere. Aquilino Elixio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Gergori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cosmico FC's Robustiano Heli got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Barrilete Cosmico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Gergori to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrilete Cosmico FC's Leonardo Lizbeth got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Banfiel Oeste's Ramiro Franco got a free kick in the 89th minute. The long shot by Robustiano Heli in the 90th minute really tested Generoso Gines's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 92nd minute, Hugo Rafel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Lizbeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Generoso Gines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
