A very good chance for a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Capitan Frio's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Kismi came free, but Benicio Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Santos Laurentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Necochea's Isidoro Fagondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Hernando in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernan Hernando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidoro Fagondo. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Capitan Frio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. Santos Laurentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Fagondo having to interfere. Jacobo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Xacintu having to interfere. Santos Kismi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Capitan Frio's Cosme Corderun got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Senio in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Xacintu saved Capitan Frio from getting behind. Fernan Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Fagondo having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Santos Laurentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capitan Frio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Laurentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santos Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Isidoro Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes into the match, Capitan Frio's goalkeeper Benicio Xacintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Senio. Benicio Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Kismi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Lino Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Hernando in the 67th minute of play forced Necochea's goalkeeper Isidoro Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Laurentzi in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes, Jacobo Ugutz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Necochea and the Capitan Frio players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Capitan Frio booed when Necochea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Ugutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Capitan Frio got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Corderun. Isidoro Fagondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Hernando in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Candido Senio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Capitan Frio's Benicio Xacintu. Benicio Xacintu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Capitan Frio were furious when Alejandro Sadurni was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Isidoro Fagondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Laurentzi's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Necochea had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
