In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Bernal Oeste's goalkeeper Carlos Calisto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Calisto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Fidele in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Gipuzkoa in the 20th minute of play forced Sportivo Bernal Oeste's goalkeeper Carlos Calisto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Basilio Hunfredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Abajas. In the 36thth minute of the game Cayetano Gipuzkoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Bernal Oeste's Carlos Calisto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barrialito TEAM OFF's Cayetano Gipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Sportivo Bernal Oeste's goalkeeper Carlos Calisto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Fidele. Atilano Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Hunfredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Israel Abajas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Atilano Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Israel Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basilio Hunfredo made a kick off. In the 54th minute, German Venceslas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes, Barrialito TEAM OFF's Narciso Urtungo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Calisto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrialito TEAM OFF reached it. Cayetano Gipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carlos Calisto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Cayetano Gipuzkoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Bernal Oeste's Carlos Calisto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Hegoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match, Basilio Hunfredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Israel Abajas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Basilio Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Sportivo Bernal Oeste's Atilano Rosio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Abajas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Israel Abajas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Rosio in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barrialito TEAM OFF's zone, Basilio Hunfredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Abajas came out of the goal and Basilio Hunfredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Basilio Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Basilio Hunfredo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Sportivo Bernal Oeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Hunfredo couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Basilio Hunfredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Bernal Oeste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrialito TEAM OFF the free kick. A collision led to Sportivo Bernal Oeste getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Basilio Hunfredo hit a great ball. Justo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Calisto having to interfere. Israel Abajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Lizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Israel Abajas made a huge save. The Sportivo Bernal Oeste supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sportivo Bernal Oeste would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
