The Pakua FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Abeijon should have stopped the shot. Santos Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Lázaro Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pakua FC's Lázaro Abeijon got control of the ball when Santos Laurentzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pakua FC's Damian Luken got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Capitan Frio's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Luken came free, but Benicio Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Cosme Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Pakua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Hernando came free, but Lázaro Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Ovidio Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Quiroga charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Quiroga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Ovidio Servando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pakua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Servando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernan Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Luken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Benicio Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Capitan Frio's zone, Candido Frichoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Xacintu came out of the goal and Candido Frichoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ovidio Servando made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ovidio Servando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pakua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Servando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Laurentzi struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Lázaro Abeijon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capitan Frio. Lino Quiroga was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ovidio Servando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. If Damian Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pakua FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Reynaldo Iruinea hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Ruben Frechoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 82 minutes, Damian Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pakua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Luken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Capitan Frio were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pakua FC for a fine match.
