Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Victorio Mon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pakua FC's Lázaro Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Artaldo in the 21st minute of play. When Bonifacio Artaldo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Poder Popular fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Artaldo couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Sixto Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lázaro Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Artaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Abeijon. Pakua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Artaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.
