The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charles Waegemans came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by QBSLC's Vladimiro Fernandez. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, QBSLC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Franco came free, but Bruno Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Domingo 32 de Otoño FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Urbasa came free, but Charles Waegemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Charles Waegemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Domingo 32 de Otoño FC's Remigio Veronica got a free kick in the 19th minute. Parvan Santov hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Charles Waegemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Urbasa in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Domingo 32 de Otoño FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Jayvier came free, but Charles Waegemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in QBSLC's zone, Roberto Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Louis came out of the goal and Roberto Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Franco scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Louis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo 32 de Otoño FC's Celso Tabb got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo 32 de Otoño FC's Edelmiro Berbiz got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Joanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Veronica's late challenge caught a QBSLC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Veronica helped the player get up and apologised. Remigio Veronica hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Franco to make the kick off. A collision led to Domingo 32 de Otoño FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Celso Tabb hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, QBSLC's Benigno Joanes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bruno Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 60th minute of the match Remigio Veronica completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Remigio Veronica a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 60 played minutes Domingo 32 de Otoño FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Veronica. Joaquin Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Vladimiro Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
