Pablo Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Senen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Nuxila struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jeremias Maurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano. Fabian Nuxila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jeremias Maurino made a huge save. After 22 played minutes La Bandaaa got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Chucho. After having played for 24 minutes, Fabian Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano's Santiago Tximitx managed to work through La Bandaaa's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Santiago Tximitx dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. La Bandaaa's Alberto Franco got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Alberto Franco off the ground. After 44 played minutes La Bandaaa got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Franco. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 57 minutes of play, Belgrano's Santiago Tximitx made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Maurino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Tximitx might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Maurino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Tximitx ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jeremias Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Raebert charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Belgrano booed when La Bandaaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Raebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Jacob's late challenge caught a Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
