Ivan Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Erasmo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of FC Yupanqui:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Academia:s goal. The goalkeeper, Erasmo Fidensio, was totally fooled by La Academia's Jose Javiar, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as La Academia's Anselmo Iratzeder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erasmo Fidensio. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Igor Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Simon Toli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Gombal's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The supporters of FC Yupanqui booed when La Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ivan Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Baudelio got free with Simon Toli in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Mateo Gilesindo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 56th minute, Jacinto Gombal made a precise shot to the right of Simon Toli. La Academia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Erasmo Fidensio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 77 minutes, Jacinto Gombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Yupanqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Gombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, La Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Blanco to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Mateo Gilesindo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simon Toli. The goal made the score 6-3. In the 86th minute, FC Yupanqui's Mateo Gilesindo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-4. La Academia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Chago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The La Academia fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Yupanqui had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
