Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adrian Jaunti took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bustamante's zone, Adrian Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Pereyra came out of the goal and Adrian Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Bustamante's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Eskuin came free, but Guaberto Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Ledesma in the 13th minute of the match. Guaberto Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Eskuin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vertientes booed when Bustamante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Dolcet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vertientes's Justo Ledesma got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match Filiberto Txeru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Ignazio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Adrian Jaunti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Ignazio was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, one of Vertientes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vertientes. Elias Clementi placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Guaberto Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Ledesma in the 34th minute of play. If Bernardino Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Eloy Ignazio was a little too slow when Adrian Jaunti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. When Haroldo Hustaz fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vertientes's protests and gave Haroldo Hustaz a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hilario Eskuin to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Hilario Eskuin put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Guaberto Pereyra. Eloy Ignazio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Jaunti's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Generoso Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Pereyra made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Justo Ledesma sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Jaunti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardino Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Vladimiro Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Adrian Jaunti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vertientes's Eloy Ignazio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Pastor Ostots put in a rough tackle. 96 minutes into the game, Elias Clementi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eloy Ignazio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Bustamante players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
