Pablo Orland was a little too slow when Anselmo Iratzeder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 26th match minute, Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Delfino to maneuver through the defense. When Benigno Rosio fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano's protests and gave Benigno Rosio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Belgrano getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Benigno Rosio hit a great ball. Fabian Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Simon Toli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Tximitx, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgrano's goalkeeper Pablo Orland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabian Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Simon Toli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Toli having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santiago Tximitx to make the kick off. Belgrano's Pablo Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Iratzeder in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Santiago Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Iratzeder came free, but Pablo Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Academia! The referee gave Belgrano a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeronimo Delfino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Academia's Simon Toli. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgrano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
