FC Yupanqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Bandaaa the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Bandaaa's Alberto Franco got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Mateo Gilesindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Yupanqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Gilesindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Gombal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Jeremias Maurino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 20th minute Eustacio Senen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacinto Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Yupanqui's Ciriaco Baudelio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Fabian Dimo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mateo Gilesindo made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Gilesindo in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Maurino saved La Bandaaa from getting behind. Alberto Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Mateo Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Maurino having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mateo Gilesindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Maurino was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Jacinto Gombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Maurino having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Gilesindo couldn't finish the play.
