Santiago Natanael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Erasmo Millrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Santiago Natanael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Y va el tercero F.C.'s zone, Bonifacio Dodorol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Natanael came out of the goal and Bonifacio Dodorol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Reyes lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The crowd rose to their feet as Erasmo Millrick kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santiago Natanael. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Florencio Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacimiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Lauaxeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Natanael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Natanael made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Erasmo Millrick sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Millrick couldn't finish the play. If Erasmo Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Cesar Lamberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nacimiento's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Y va el tercero F.C. the free kick. Cesar Lamberto hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Erasmo Millrick came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Nacimiento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Millrick couldn't finish the play. If Erasmo Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Vincent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Natanael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. When Tadeo Moise fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Y va el tercero F.C.'s protests and gave Tadeo Moise a yellow card for diving instead. Erasmo Millrick received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santiago Natanael came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo Millrick slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Nacimiento left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Y va el tercero F.C..
