A collision led to Vertientes getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Aquiles Miliano hit a great ball. Cipriano Jobo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vertientes's zone, Mateo Gilesindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Ignazio came out of the goal and Mateo Gilesindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Ignazio having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Mateo Gilesindo made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Ignazio. Vertientes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Eloy Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Aquiles Miliano charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Miliano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Justo Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vertientes's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Ledesma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Fidensio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes Vertientes got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Rico. A collision led to Vertientes getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aquiles Miliano hit a great ball. The Vertientes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Yupanqui were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Gilesindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Eloy Ignazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Gilesindo in the 55th minute of play. Mateo Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eloy Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, FC Yupanqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Baudelio to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Eskuin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Justo Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vertientes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Ledesma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Hilario Eskuin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Yupanqui's Erasmo Fidensio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Baudelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Yupanqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vertientes the free kick. A collision led to FC Yupanqui getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ciriaco Baudelio hit a great ball. The supporters of Vertientes booed when FC Yupanqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Quintyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Abel Garci sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Yupanqui's Erasmo Fidensio didn't even have to move. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
