In the 20th minute Bonifacio Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Garci during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute Filomeno Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Justo Ledesma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacimiento's German Intxixu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Filomeno Hegoi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eloy Ignazio firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 35th minute Nacimiento were awarded a corner. Filomeno Hegoi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Nacimiento's Filomeno Hegoi to fire away a dangerous shot which Eloy Ignazio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Erasmo Millrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Eloy Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Eloy Ignazio managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Nacimiento's Filomeno Hegoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 46 minutes into the match, Nacimiento's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Ledesma came free, but German Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacimiento's Marco Vincent got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Hegoi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Florencio Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacimiento's German Intxixu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Eskuin in the 62nd minute of play. Justo Ledesma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Intxixu having to make a save. Filomeno Hegoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Erasmo Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacimiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Millrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Ignazio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eloy Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Aquiles Miliano fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vertientes's protests and gave Aquiles Miliano a yellow card for diving instead. Eloy Ignazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Hegoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Marco Vincent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filomeno Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erasmo Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacimiento walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
