A collision led to Tiggeritos FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Flavio Guib hit a great ball. When Duendes San Patricio's Tomas Acuña in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tiggeritos FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Matthew's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Ixaka was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 8 minutes, Hilario Bembe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiggeritos FC and the Duendes San Patricio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Tiggeritos FC's zone, Domingo Izotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Ixaka came out of the goal and Domingo Izotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Hipolito Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duendes San Patricio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Matthew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Oriol made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Paolo Nesto sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Baldomero Gagriel put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tiggeritos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Duendes San Patricio a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ovidio Santana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tiggeritos FC's Augusto Ixaka. 0-1. Geronimo Hanot charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Hanot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Tiggeritos FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Guib. Ovidio Santana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Duendes San Patricio's Tomas Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hipolito Matthew took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Ixaka. Augusto Ixaka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tiggeritos FC's zone, Tomas Acuña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Ixaka came out of the goal and Tomas Acuña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roque Pirro's late challenge caught a Duendes San Patricio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Pirro helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tiggeritos FC! After a rather tough play, Tiggeritos FC's Flavio Guib got a free kick in the 40th minute. Hipolito Matthew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Augusto Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Nesto made a kick off. Tomas Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Augusto Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Tomas Acuña rounded Tiggeritos FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. In the 68th minute Tomas Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Hanot got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th match minute, Duendes San Patricio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Hanot to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st match minute, Tiggeritos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Nesto to maneuver through the defense. Tiggeritos FC's Augusto Ixaka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Tiggeritos FC from getting a goal against them. Tomas Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Augusto Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duendes San Patricio played a much better game than Tiggeritos FC and deserved their victory. The Tiggeritos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
