Domingos Damario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Udalaitz couldn't finish the play. Angelino Udalaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bernabe Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the velez sarsfield defense, Eriberto Obeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe Alvarez. The velez sarsfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabe Alvarez should have stopped the shot. The referee gave Ramallo FC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marciano Breogan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of velez sarsfield's Bernabe Alvarez. 2-0. Domingos Damario made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Genaro Rafel sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Angelino Udalaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ramallo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 85 minutes velez sarsfield's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marciano Breogan who took care of the corner kick. Ramallo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
