The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Boniel during the 2nd minute. With a little luck, C.A.Talleres's Justino Eriz got control of the ball when Placido Faro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael Rami came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Talleres's Benedicto Arias. But to his dismay, Benedicto Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes RolonetaCosmica FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Pelayo. Alonzo Lopes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Rami. RolonetaCosmica FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ismael Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Lalla in the 17th minute of the match. Bernardino Estebe's late challenge caught a C.A.Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Estebe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to RolonetaCosmica FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bernardino Estebe hit a great ball. C.A.Talleres's Emanuel Lalla got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Benedicto Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Haroldo Nastasio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justino Eriz. Haroldo Nastasio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Haroldo Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Eriz having to interfere. Bernardino Estebe got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, RolonetaCosmica FC's Bernardino Estebe got a free kick in the 35th minute. Emanuel Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A.Talleres's Angelo Oliviero has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 39th minute. Ismael Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Arias in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, RolonetaCosmica FC's Adolfo Pelayo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, C.A.Talleres's Justino Eriz got control of the ball when Placido Faro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Arias was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of C.A.Talleres booed when RolonetaCosmica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Pelayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Alonzo Lopes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RolonetaCosmica FC's Ismael Rami didn't even have to move. When C.A.Talleres's Emanuel Lalla in 59 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ismael Rami guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Placido Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Igor Erdiano fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Talleres's protests and gave Igor Erdiano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A.Talleres getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Igor Erdiano hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
