Spectators: 6325 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stig Blomqvist started the match with the kick off. If Stig Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 6 minutes, Stig Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvear FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Blomqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Isidro Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stig Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Alvear FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Romildo came free, but Tiburcio Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Breogan scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiburcio Otsando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nunez Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Otsando having to interfere. Tiburcio Otsando made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Orlando Romildo sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Cristian Aimar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alvear FC's Cayetano Etxatxu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 33rd match minute, Los Halcones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Oinatz to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes, Alvear FC's Jimeno Llorian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidro Gonsalvo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvear FC reached it. In the 36th minute, Norberto Urre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidro Gonsalvo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 39th minute, Norberto Urre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Pueblo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Gonsalvo. Isidro Gonsalvo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Quirce made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Stig Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Braulio Breogan made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Otsando. Alvear FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Breogan in the 68th minute of play forced Alvear FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Otsando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Oinatz charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Oinatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Halcones getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Roberto Oinatz hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Stig Blomqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Gonsalvo. Los Halcones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Blomqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After a rather tough play, Alvear FC's Claudio Marko got a free kick in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Braulio Breogan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiburcio Otsando. Alvear FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Breogan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. After some careless play in the Alvear FC defense, Orlando Romildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Otsando. The Alvear FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Otsando should have stopped the shot. Tobias Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Alvear FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Gorka came free, but Tiburcio Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
