Tiburcio Quilino started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Fortineros de la Bahía were awarded a corner. Higinio Ireno went to the cornerflag to take it. Higinio Ireno made a great header on Fortineros de la Bahía's corner, it was just that All Boys Trenel's Erasmo Diaz managed to reach the ball for a save. Victor Papo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Diaz having to make a save. Tiburcio Quilino might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Quilino ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, All Boys Trenel's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Quilino came free, but Erasmo Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fortineros de la Bahía booed when All Boys Trenel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Gonchan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Chale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Augusto Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ermegildo Chale sent off a good shot on target. Rigoberto Peli struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Augusto Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for All Boys Trenel. After having played for 28 minutes, Rigoberto Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Boys Trenel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Peli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tadeo Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiburcio Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Erasmo Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Quilino struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Erasmo Diaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortineros de la Bahía. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Belo made a kick off. With a little luck, All Boys Trenel's Erasmo Diaz got control of the ball when Victor Papo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, All Boys Trenel's goalkeeper Erasmo Diaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Papo. Rigoberto Peli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Cordeiro having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Rigoberto Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victor Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, All Boys Trenel's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Quilino came free, but Erasmo Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Quilino had several of the All Boys Trenel's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Erasmo Diaz as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 76th minute, Victor Papo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Belo in the 81st minute of play. Victor Papo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Erasmo Diaz made a huge save. Tadeo Gonchan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Fortineros de la Bahía's Tiburcio Quilino got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The All Boys Trenel fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when All Boys Trenel's Rigoberto Peli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to All Boys Trenel getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ermegildo Chale hit a great ball. Fortineros de la Bahía were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after All Boys Trenel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Higinio Ireno took the corner.
