Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilano Franco kicked off to start the match. In the 10th match minute, Lipeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Belasko to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Fidele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Higinio Ireno hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Erubiel Rico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fortineros de la Bahía's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lipeo the free kick. Lipeo's Sergio Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Quilino in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Lipeo's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Papo came free, but Sergio Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiburcio Quilino to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Elias Grabiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lipeo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortineros de la Bahía the free kick. The supporters of Fortineros de la Bahía booed when Lipeo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 91st minute, Lipeo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victor Papo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sergio Fidele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lipeo's Sergio Fidele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Lipeo from getting a goal against them.
