The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match Fulgencio Abadie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Eriz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Angelo Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Marcial Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Sandalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 minutes, Fulgencio Abadie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RolonetaCosmica FC and the C.A.Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to RolonetaCosmica FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fulgencio Abadie hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, RolonetaCosmica FC's goalkeeper Ismael Rami had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Lalla. After some careless play in the C.A.Talleres defense, Haroldo Nastasio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Eriz. The C.A.Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Eriz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, C.A.Talleres's Angelo Oliviero got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, C.A.Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Faro came free, but Justino Eriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of RolonetaCosmica FC booed when C.A.Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Galeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Nastasio in the 38th minute of play forced C.A.Talleres's goalkeeper Justino Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half RolonetaCosmica FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedicto Arias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Placido Faro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. RolonetaCosmica FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ismael Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Lalla in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes RolonetaCosmica FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Estebe. When Marcial Sandalio fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Talleres's protests and gave Marcial Sandalio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, C.A.Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Rami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Faro got free with Justino Eriz in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Placido Faro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Justino Eriz made a huge save. When RolonetaCosmica FC's Haroldo Nastasio in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The C.A.Talleres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RolonetaCosmica FC's performance. The match ended with a win for RolonetaCosmica FC.
