Alejo Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Nastasio in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Marco Vachon took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Florencio Aznaro to make any attempt to save it. When Rene Rufo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flying Goats's protests and gave Rene Rufo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Banda De Carlitos booed when Flying Goats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Rene Rufo made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Steven. La Banda De Carlitos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With his leg Florencio Aznaro managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when La Banda De Carlitos's Manuel Nisio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flying Goats's Florencio Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Flying Goats from getting a goal against them. Florencio Aznaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Nisio in the 32nd minute. If Rene Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Rufo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Alejo Steven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flying Goats. Alfredo Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Steven having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match Santiago Chucho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florencio Aznaro skillfully saved the ball. Manuel Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Florencio Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in La Banda De Carlitos's zone, Alfredo Nastasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Steven came out of the goal and Alfredo Nastasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flying Goats's Ildefonso Montel was substituted for Eustaquio Sansone. Rene Rufo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. When the final whistle sounded Flying Goats left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Banda De Carlitos.
