Fermin Tanio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Sancho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Defensa y Justicia defense, Jesus Oihan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Mancio. The Defensa y Justicia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Mancio should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Jesus Oihan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tomas Mancio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Oihan in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, club-a-boca-junior's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fermin Tanio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tomas Mancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Oihan in the 34th minute of the match. Donato Incendio struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Eloy Sancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensa y Justicia. Jesus Oihan took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Mancio. Tomas Mancio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 48 minutes into the match, Defensa y Justicia's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Sustrai came free, but Tomas Mancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Sustrai made a kick off. Freddy Sustrai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Mancio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Defensa y Justicia's zone, Jesus Oihan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Mancio came out of the goal and Jesus Oihan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Sustrai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tomas Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Freddy Sustrai came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the club-a-boca-junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Sustrai couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Tomas Mancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Oihan. 69 minutes into the match, club-a-boca-junior's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Tanio came free, but Eloy Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Freddy Sustrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Freddy Sustrai fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Sustrai in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Mancio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the game, Roberto Frans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. club-a-boca-junior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensa y Justicia the free kick. After 85 played minutes club-a-boca-junior got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Frans. Teofilo Clementi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Rodrigo Gonzo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and club-a-boca-junior's Eloy Sancho didn't even have to move. If Fermin Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, club-a-boca-junior's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Stephen came free, but Eloy Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Defensa y Justicia booed when club-a-boca-junior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Medardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Frans was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Roberto Frans hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Defensa y Justicia's Rodrigo Gonzo tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. club-a-boca-junior played a much better game than Defensa y Justicia and deserved their victory. The Defensa y Justicia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
