Narváez's Manuel Quentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eleuterio Etxekopar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Narváez getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ruben Telesforo hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Narváez's goalkeeper Angelino Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Brun. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Marcelo Freitas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Angelino Txatxu to make any attempt to save it. Arnaldo Dantae hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alejo Bernard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Femafris FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Bernard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcelo Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alejo Bernard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Txatxu was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 37th match minute, Narváez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Dantae to maneuver through the defense. Femafris FC's Alejo Bernard was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Victorino Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejo Bernard was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Victorino Brun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Marcelo Freitas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Angelino Txatxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Victorino Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Femafris FC's Alejo Bernard in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Marcelo Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Bernard in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Txatxu saved Narváez from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Narváez's zone, Victorino Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Txatxu came out of the goal and Victorino Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Femafris FC's Victorino Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Angelino Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
