Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Salamanca AFC's Candido Colon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Peruxu in the 10th minute of play forced Salamanca AFC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Romildo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Conrado Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Salamanca AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Emanuel Orixe hit a great ball. Teobaldo Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Conrado Rencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loreto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salamanca AFC the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Conrado Rencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luisito Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Candido Colon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Candido Colon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salamanca AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With an all-out effort, Loreto's Teobaldo Iigo threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicanor Peruxu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38th minute, Emanuel Orixe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Loreto's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Colon came free, but Luisito Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Peruxu to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Peruxu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Luisito Pancho came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Salamanca AFC's Candido Colon. But to his dismay, Candido Colon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Loreto booed when Salamanca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Romildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, Salamanca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Romildo to maneuver through the defense. Loreto's Luisito Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Colon in the 69th minute of play. Ciriaco Felipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salamanca AFC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Iigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Candido Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Nicanor Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
