A collision led to Basavilbaso AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Saul Millano hit a great ball. If Lorenzo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mataderos FC booed when Basavilbaso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basavilbaso AFC's Pastor Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Jatsu in the 14th minute of play. If Lorenzo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Eustacio Lehen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basavilbaso AFC and the Mataderos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Lehen hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Basavilbaso AFC's Pastor Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Jatsu in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's goalkeeper Herminio Sanson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Aballe. Lorenzo Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pastor Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Lluciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Jatsu in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Honorio Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Ramiro Aballe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herminio Sanson, 1-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Lorenzo Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mataderos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Jatsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Mataderos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Michael to maneuver through the defense. Abel Patxi might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Lluciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Patxi ran back to his position shaking his head. Lorenzo Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Jatsu made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Jatsu in the 53rd minute of play forced Basavilbaso AFC's goalkeeper Pastor Lluciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Lluciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Fraco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Jatsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mataderos FC's Vinicio Michael got a free kick in the 59th minute. Pastor Lluciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Ambrosio Fraco came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Mataderos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Fraco couldn't finish the play. Pastor Lluciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Abel Patxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Ambrosio Fraco took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Pastor Lluciano to make any attempt to save it. Pastor Lluciano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lorenzo Jatsu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. Pastor Lluciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Jatsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basavilbaso AFC's Pastor Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Fraco in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mataderos FC's goalkeeper Herminio Sanson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenzo Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Lluciano having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Vinicio Michael notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Basavilbaso AFC's Pastor Lluciano. Pastor Lluciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Basavilbaso AFC's zone, Lorenzo Jatsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Lluciano came out of the goal and Lorenzo Jatsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mataderos FC's Ambrosio Fraco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pastor Lluciano. That made the score 1-5 after 93 minutes of play. Mataderos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
