Antonio Ekain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Nemesio Gonzalez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eustacio Reynardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Udalaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 22 in the game by Antonio Ekain from a close distance when the talented Nemesio Gonzalez managed to make a qualified save. Norumbega's players were relieved. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Udalaitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Fabian Brais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Gonzalez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Norumbega's zone, Antonio Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Gonzalez came out of the goal and Antonio Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
